Saigon Night Street Eats

Discover one of our favorite foodhood by night. As the sun sets, the Saigon street scene transforms into a buzzing atmosphere with low plastic stools and tables stacked on sidewalks as locals gather with friends and family for an evening snack or meal. You’ll see smoke and smell aromas of grilled meats and seafood, push carts light up with evening snacks like fried corn and specialty boiled eggs, a colorful display of a sticky rice stalls with a variety of meat sides – all amongst a busy street scene with motorbikes zooming past. We’ll immerse ourselves in this exhilarating atmosphere and sit amongst locals enjoying some food and local beer (or other preferred beverage).

 

Beyond the bustling street scene, we’ll take you down smaller alleyways where you’ll see mom and pop shops selling their specialty dishes like rice porridge and Banh Xeo. In this experience you’ll be tasting a variety of street eats and gain a broader perspective of Vietnamese food beyond the typical Pho and Banh Mi.
